Toronto’s most charismatic gathering spot, The Broadview Hotel, managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, now offers even more reasons to stay and play in the 128 year-old iconic landmark with new, monthly entertainment programming and events. From comedy to live music, bingo to astrology readings, or a fun and interactive game of trivia, Riverside’s finest has something for everyone.
“The Broadview Hotel’s reputation for providing a top-notch hospitality experience for both city visitors and Torontonians alike didn’t happen by accident,” said Murray Henderson, General Manager. “We hold our visitors’ standards in high regard and know that we need to constantly evolve to exceed their expectations. We’re excited to further establish ourselves as the east end’s favourite place to eat, drink, gather and stay.”
On International Women’s Day (Mar. 8), The Broadview Hotel invites guests to join them for a cocktail and speaker panel event, sponsored by Dream Unlimited Corp. Starting at 5:30pm in Lincoln Hall guests can enjoy bites catered by the hotel, wine sponsored by Medovino Imports and a cash bar before the panel begins at 6:30pm. The panel, moderated by Samora Smallwood, a Toronto-based actor and co-chair of ACTRA’s Diversity Committee, will feature prominent female business owners and residents from the city’s east end, who will discuss culture, community and female-run businesses. The panel will include Anna Church, a Riverside-based Sculptography artist whose work is featured within the hotel; Graydon Moffat, the Founder and CIO of plant-powered skincare Graydon Skincare; Anjuli Solanki, a City Builder with the STEPS Initiative, an award-winning charity whose work sits at the intersection of arts and culture, community engagement and city-building; and Pauline Alimchandani, the Executive Vice President and CFO of Dream Unlimited Corp., one of Canada’s leading real estate companies. Tickets to The Broadview Hotel’s International Women’s Day event are $10 with proceeds benefiting Red Door Family Shelter, a safe and supportive emergency shelter for families and individuals who are fleeing violence at home, are evicted, refugees or young mothers who may have nowhere to go. Tickets can be purchased here.
